Happiness is found close by. In a world where indifference and inhumanity prevail, let us use our discussion meetings as the pivot for creating oases of peace and harmony in our homes and in our local communities, and then extending them to encompass every sphere of society.’
Daisaku Ikeda - Faith Into Action p.216

Meetings form an important part of our practice. We come together regularly to chant, support, encourage and inspire each other in our buddhist practice.

Whilst we welcome guests at any of our meetings, we have found that the monthly Discussion Meeting usually provides the best introduction to our practice. Discussion Meetings are generally small gatherings held in members’ own homes and are friendly and informal. These meetings act as a source of inspiration for members who share their experiences of using Buddhist practice in daily life.

Recent starting points for discussion at these meetings have been:
What is true happiness?
How can we transform suffering?
Where does peace begin?

Discussion Meetings last for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, followed by light refreshments. If you would like to attend we would love to hear from you! Please drop us a line.
